The Inaugural Nature and Health Conference in Houston, TX.  
The SNEWS Lab attended the Inaugural Nature and Health Conference.  
Dr. Brossoit and Dr. Rachel Williamson Smith co-chaired the 2025 SIOP Early Career Faculty Consortium, with expert panelists who shared their insights on teaching, research, and career development. The teaching panel (pictured) included Drs. David Costanza, Lisa Kath, Kurt Kraiger, and Mikki Hebl. 
Hannah Perkins Stark and Destiny Castro presenting at the 2025 SIOP Conference in Denver. From Silos to Synergy: Interdisciplinary Approaches to Strengthen I-O Psychology. Topics included: sexuality and gender studies, learning science, exercise science, sports psychology, judgment and decision making, and the U.N. Sustainable Development Goals.
Session at the 2025 SIOP Conference: Leading Well-Being at Work: Creating Environments Where Humans Thrive. 
In 2025, Dr. Brossoit is leading a new nature in the workplace project with Drs. Leslie and Maddock, funded in collaboration with the Center for Health & Nature through a generous gift from the Marek family. 
Congratulations to Winter 2024 LSU graduates, Andrea and Madalyn!! Andrea was recognized as one of four Distinguished Undergraduate Researchers. 
Dr. Brossoit, in collaboration with Dr. Calamia and Covenant Health Network, completed the Caring for Our Care Force grant in December 2024. The project was funded by a generous Community Reinvestment grant from Mercy C.A.R.E.S. 
In the summer of 2024, Dr. Brossoit joined the
Department of Psychological Sciences at Rice!

Andrea Bickley traveled to the 2024 Mississippi State University Undergraduate Research Symposium to present research from her McNair Scholars project.

Andrea Bickley was selected to attend the Portland State University Summer Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Research Institute in 2023.

The SNEWS lab facilitates stress management and health-related workshops for working adults and graduate students. 
Dr. Brossoit and former LSU I-O graduate student Dr. Gino Howard provided a workshop to LSU Foundation employees on how to effectively manage stress and work-family responsibilities. 
Dr. Brossoit presented on the importance of promoting healthy sleep in the workplace at the Rocky Mountain Safety Conference Plenary Session.
